Hearing on Zoning Text Amendment


City of Millwood Planning Commission

The Millwood Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, December 27, 2017 to consider amendments to Chapter 17 of the Millwood Municipal Code, the Millwood zoning code. The public hearing will be held beginning at 6:00 p.m. in the Millwood city hall, 9103 E Frederick Ave. The proposed amendments are:

To amend the Site Coverage regulations in Millwood’s Residential zones, to delete the phase “…and other impervious surfaces” from these sections.

     17.08.060 – Site coverage.  In the UR-2 zone, site area requirements are as follows:   Sixty-five (65) percent of the area of the site shall be left as open space free from structures and other impervious surfaces.  (Similar change in 17.12.070 and 17.14.070)

A Determination of Non-Significance (DNS) for the application has been issued as a result of the environmental review of the proposed amendment.

Documents are available for inspection at the Millwood City Hall, at 9103 E. Frederick Ave, Millwood WA 99206 (office hours 8:00 am – 5:00 pm). Any person may submit written comments to the planning commission and may appear at the public hearing to give oral comments on the proposal.
